ADINKRA"
Cousin Sara Productions has developed a thrilling romantic mystery, "ADINKRA", perfectly suited for a TV movie, streaming services or a multi-season format.

Governor Sheryl Davidson finds cryptic notes placed in her office and home with ancient African Adinkra symbols threatening her life if she paroles the murderer of an unscrupulous doctor. The fact that Sheryl and the murderer are black and the slain doctor is white, could trigger a racial firestorm in her state. The search for the culprit uncovers shocking secrets, casts suspicion on trusted friends and threatens Sheryl’s marriage. Mysterious notes, secret identities, lies, and revenge make this story riveting. Just when you think the mystery is solved, there is another surprise revelation.

Adinkraaddresses contemporary gender issues such as work-life balance and women bracing against stereotypes by being unapologetic about their decisions and how they wield power. It blends the most dramatic elements of Scandal with an intriguing hybrid of Murder She Wrote and How to Get Away with Murder.

Adinkrais a complete unpublished novel, so conversion to a screenplay will be seamless. A treatment is available. As a bonus, merchandise featuring Adinkra symbols and their cultural meanings could be very lucrative and spark a following like Trekkies or Gladiators.
We are confident we can work together with interested literary agents & production companies, to make this a creative and commercial success

Once in Uganda, Sara taught science and math and traveled around East Africa. In April, 1968 Sara married a Ugandan, resigned from the Peace Corps and began a new life.

On January 25, 1971, Idi Amin Dada seized power and plunged this tropical paradise into a cycle of unimaginable terror and bloodshed.

During the next six years, as this incredible tragedy unfolded, Sara moved freely around Uganda, witnessing many things that were not reported including the historic 1976 Israeli raid on Entebbe Airport.

The Shattered Pearl is a gripping, entertaining account of an incredible journey filled with adventure, love, joy, and terror.

Kitui and the Frensel Lens
Cousin Sara Productions,
We have developed an intriguing period piece, "Kitui and the Frensel Lens", perfectly suited for a TV mini-series or the big screen. Kitui and the Frensel Lens is a complete unpublished novel so conversion to a screenplay will be seamless.

Kitui, a slave on a Louisiana plantation, uses her powers of memory and observation to teach herself to read and write. Moving around unnoticed, she transmits valuable information to the North during the Civil War. She survives brutalization and heart-breaking loss to help the Union find a hidden treasure. Overcoming all odds, she builds a life filled with hope and purpose. This story is filled with action, romance, heart stopping chases and even a battle at sea.

Kitui is the embodiment of countless women of that era who were underestimated and devalued but remained undaunted and determined. The story incorporates the best elements of Underground and Free State of Jones. There are several cliffhangers in the plot that make it perfect for a miniseries.

This story uses history to highlight current struggles and give hope for the future.
